How to Merge Claims

📝 Steps to Perform

1. Initiate Merge:

   • Start from Claim X (the one you want to merge).

• A list of eligible claims (e.g., Claim Y) will appear, filtered by:

  • Same plate number.

  • Same event date and time.

1. Select Target Claim:

• Choose Claim Y from the list (only one can be selected).

• The list shows: Claim ID – Plate – Event Date (YYYY-MM-DD).

Confirmation Modal:

• Message shown: "Stai per unire il sinistro Y nel sinistro X. Sei ASSOLUTAMENTE sicuro? Il sinistro Y diventerà CHIUSO SENZA SEGUITO ed i suoi dati saranno spostati nel sinistro X."

• Confirm to proceed.

1. Result of Merge:

• Claim Y (source) becomes:

  • Status: closed_no_followup

  • Read-only

  • Final note: "Sinistro unito al sinistro {{destination_id}}"

• The following data is transferred to Claim X (destination):

  • Notes

  • Documents

  • Emails

  • Economics

  • Card Economics

  • Cinquina

  • Cinquina Inversa

1. Post-Merge:

• User is redirected to the edit page of Claim X.
